Early Days
Waxwing started in May 2024 as an AI copilot for marketing—a fancy way of saying we used artificial intelligence to cut execution time by 90%. We thought, 'Awesome, right?' It was… until we realized something was missing.
Aha Moment
Users loved the AI output (thanks for the #1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt, by the way!), but they still needed human help to get that final, polished outcome. So we did what any curious startup would do: we listened.
The Pivot
Soon, we saw a bigger opportunity—why not combine the strengths of AI and real human expertise in one platform? That's how our pivot to a 'Human+AI marketplace' was born. Some call it bold, others call it bonkers; we call it necessary.
